Sources

All events are sourced from the City of Ventura's official public calendar and government meeting notices. We publish only officially announced public meetings and city events.

Inclusion criteria

An event is included if it is: (1) an official City of Ventura public meeting or government event, (2) located in or directly serving the Ventura area, and (3) has a confirmed date, time, and agenda notice. Events that do not meet all three criteria are not published.

Update frequency

The site is updated hourly. New meetings are added as they are officially posted. Past events are archived and never deleted.

Corrections

If you spot an error — wrong time, wrong location, wrong title — please contact us. Corrections are made promptly and applied transparently. We do not silently alter published records.

Independence

Ventura Buzz has no financial or editorial relationships with the City of Ventura, any government body, advertiser, or sponsor. All editorial decisions are made independently.
